Jiffy Lube of Utah is thrilled to announce the Teen Driver category winners of the 2026 Jiffy Lube "What Drives You?" High School Scholarship program.

The Jiffy Lube "What Drives You?" High School Scholarship Program is a unique opportunity to pursue your interests, goals and ideas. This unique scholarship program allows local high school students the chance to express their “inner drive” and personal ambitions by simply writing a 500 word or less essay on “What Drives You?” No other requirements!

Each school year there is a $6,500 overall scholarship award and three (3) $1,500 finalist awards for licensed Teen Drivers and the same awards for driver's ed students.

Back in 2004, local Utah Jiffy Lube owners generously sponsored a unique video and scholarship opportunity to all Utah high school driver education students - the "your turn behind the wheel" program.  The program then expanded to include all Utah high school students with the opportunity to simply express their goals and passions with a 500 word essay on "What Drives You?"  

Over the past 15 years, an estimated 55,000 students have been motivated by this question to submit their essays.  A total of $192,500 in scholarships has been awarded to 88 Utah high school students and $28,000 donated to 56 Utah high schools for submitting the most essays per region.
