Utah drivers are well aware of summer showers. The rain is
so heavy and dense that you can barely see a few feet in front of your car.
Dirty/faulty wiper blades like to make matters worse and turn your windshield
into a streaky puddle. There are a few easy steps you can take to make sure
your wipers are ready to go, even during those summer rain storms.
- Run a damp paper towel or rag along your wiper blades to clean off any dirt.
- Inspect your wiper blades for any tears or cracks. Make sure to replace your blades if they have any tears/cracks.
- Replace your wiper blades at the interval specified by your owner’s manual.
If you need help, Utah Jiffy Lube centers will inspect your wiper blades as part of The Jiffy Lube Signature Service Oil Change or as an individual service. Also,
select Utah Jiffy Lube locations will replace your faulty wiper blades upon
request.
