Jiffy Lube Announces USP Group Riverton Depot Dawgz Wins Top Honor in Jiffy Lube National Oil Change Championship

Jiffy Lube franchisee USP Group’s Riverton (a Salt Lake City suburb) team, The Depot Dawgz, earned the title of “best performing Jiffy Lube team in the U.S.” after beating three other teams in the finals in Houston. 

Jiffy Lube, an industry leader in providing quick, quality oil change and vehicle maintenance for more than more than 45 years, announces the winners of this year’s J-Team All Stars Challenge, a national competition focused on delivering an exceptional customer service. 

The J-Team All Stars Challenge is a national competition where teams work seamlessly to demonstrate their technical automotive expertise and customer experience focus while helping customers get in and out in a Jiffy. This year’s J-Team All Stars Challenge included more than 1,300 participating Jiffy Lube locations from across the country. Teams were evaluated on teamwork, operational execution, and customer experience skills as well as how quickly they perform a Jiffy Lube Signature Service® Oil Change. With the victory, The Depot Dawgz took home a grand prize of $10,000 and all-expense paid trip to the Pennzoil 400 Presented by Jiffy Lube in Las Vegas on March 16th. The team included Kyle Peterson, Isaac Akiyama, Mason Chivers, and Zander Palfreyman.

The J-Team All Stars Challenge was created by Jiffy Lube International more than two decades ago to highlight the company’s award-winning Jiffy Lube University training program and empower service center employees to showcase the knowledge and expertise that helps them provide exemplary preventive vehicle maintenance and deliver a consistent, top-notch customer experience. As the pioneer of the Quick Lube industry, the challenge also reinforces the brand’s legacy of delivering fast, convenient service in a Jiffy.
